zeus
Zeus is the god of the sky, lightning, thunder, law, order and justice. He ruled as king of the gods on Mount Olympus and had many wives including Hera. His weapons are thunderbolts and lightning. When Zeus was about to be born, his mother Rhea was afraid that Cronus would swallow him up, so she gave birth to Zeus in Crete and handled Cronus a rock wrapped in swaddling clothes to swallow. After Zeus became an adult, he forced Cronus to regurgitate the rock first, then Cronus' own children. Zeus, together with his brothers and sisters and some of the giants, defeated Cronus and the Titans, sending them to a underworld region called Tartarus to be imprisoned there. After Zeus took the throne as king of the gods in Mount Olympus, he fought Typhon and Echidna. He defeated Typhon and trapped him under Mount Etna. Zeus had many children, which his wife Hera is jealous of.
