hypnos
Hypnos is the Greek god of sleep. The English word hypnosis is named after him. According to Greek mythology, Hypnos lived in a cave. He lived next to his twin brother, Thanatos in the Underworld. Hypnos is the son of Nyx and Erebus. He has a wife called Pasithea and three sons called the Oneiroi. Hypnos is also featured in the Iliad.
