Hephaestus
Hephaestus is the god of blacksmiths, craftsmen, artisans, sculptors, metals, metallurgy, fire and volcanoes. Hephaestus was cast down to earth by his mother Hera because he was deformed. He also made the weapons for all of the gods in Mount Olympus. Hephaestus uses a hammer, anvil and a pair of tongs as tools. Hephaestus has created many things such as fire which Prometheus later stole to give to the humans, automatons, thrones in the Palace of Olympus, the woman Pandora and her pithos. Zeus gave Hephaestus, Aphrodite's hand in marriage to stop conflict over her between the other gods. However, Aphrodite did not like Hephaestus because of his ugliness and she chose Ares as her lover. Hephaestus tried to capture Aphrodite and Ares by setting a trap for them. Hephaestus also uses a walking stick to help him walk and also uses a chariot to help him move around.
