Dionysus
Dionysus is the god of the grape harvest, wine making and wine. He is also the god of ritual madness, fertility, theater and religious ecstasy. Dionysus was born when his mother Semele died a horrible death and Zeus rescued him from death. One of the stories about Dionysus has him kidnapped by pirates but he forces them off the pirate ship and turned them into dolphins. In another story, he gave Midas the power to turn anything he touched into gold but Midas was not pleased of his power and asked Dionysus to remove his power. Dionysus is usually shown naked in many Greek art. Dionysus also has a Roman name called Bacchus. Some Greek lists have Dionysus as one of the Twelve Olympians while other Greek lists have Hestia in place of Dionysus as one of the Twelve Olympians instead.
